Developmental English Classes

Developmental English Courses

Developmental English courses are designed to prepare students to take college-level English courses. They integrate both reading and writing skills, and provide a supportive environment with personal assistance.

FRCC offers two developmental English courses—ENG 0090 and ENG 0094. These classes give students the help they need to be successful in our college-level ENG 1021 course.

ENG 0094 is taken together with ENG 1021, so it's important to talk with an advisor when scheduling your classes. ENG 090 is a stand-alone course, and is a great choice for those who struggle to read and write in English.
