Are you interested in transferring to Colorado State University (CSU)? The Ram Transfer Academy (RTA) helps you prepare for a smooth transfer to CSU—streamlining the transfer process and providing extra resources to support your success. Join a community of future Rams and get a head start on achieving your goals at CSU.
RTA is for FRCC students who still have 2 or more semesters left at FRCC. Don't have 2 or more semesters left at FRCC? Apply to CSU instead.
Information Sessions Are Available Every Week!
Mondays, 9 - 11 am via Zoom
Thursdays, 8:30 - 10 am at the Larimer Campus Longs Peak Student Center
Ram Transfer Academy is designed to make transferring to CSU easier, and includes a variety of resources and supports to help you along the way.
As a part of Ram Transfer Academy, you'll get:
- Guaranteed Admission to CSU
Receive full admission to CSU after successfully completing 24 credit hours at FRCC. - Ability to Take Courses at CSU and FRCC
You can take courses at CSU while you're at FRCC. - Dual Student Benefits
Access student services at both campuses, including CSU's Health Center, free athletics admission, recreation center, student organizations, legal services and more. - Student Success Coach
Get guidance from a dedicated coach to support your degree journey. Your student success coach will work closely with you to:- Make sure you have the support you need
- Help you stay on track so you can complete your bachelor's degree without wasting any credit
- Help you create a plan around the best transfer timeline to CSU
- Custom-Designed Student Success Course (AAA1001)
A collaboration between FRCC and CSU, this course will best prepare you for success at both institutions. Offered as a 10-week, remote hybrid class with 3 in-person sessions held at CSU. - Priority Transfer
FRCC and CSU handle the transfer process without any additional steps needed from you.
Eligibility & Next Steps
The first step is to apply to RTA. Applications are reviewed once monthly. Priority is given to new, first-time students who are Pell eligible, followed by Pell-eligible, continuing students with under 24 completed credit hours and a 3.0 GPA. We are not accepting concurrent high school students or second bachelor's degree students at this time.
