Transfer Considerations

When deciding where to continue your education there are many factors to consider, beyond what programs and majors are offered at your chosen school(s). Take some time to think about the environment and setting, such as: 

• Do you want to attend a school that is close to home or that is in an entirely new place?
• Do you prefer a school in an urban setting, one that is located in a smaller town, or a school that is close to nature?
• Do you want to live on-campus or off-campus in an apartment or house? Perhaps you want to save money by living at home?
• What activities do you want to get involved in--intramural sports, religious or affinity groups, student leadership, volunteer of service learning?
