National Anthem Performer
Share your talent and set the tone for a memorable ceremony.
Why Apply?
This is your chance to:
- Represent your graduating class and make the ceremony unforgettable.
- Showcase your unique perspective, story, or artistic talent.
- Share the stage with distinguished faculty and special guests.

- Be on track to graduate in the 2024-25 academic year
- Maintain good academic and disciplinary standing.
- Be available to participate in the commencement rehearsal(s) and ceremony.

A committee of faculty, students, and staff will review all applications. All names
and identifying information are redacted, so the committee will not know the applicant's
identity when reviewing the initial applications.
After reviewing the applications, the committee will invite 6-8 finalists to participate

What happens if I am selected?
If you are chosen as the Commencement Speaker or Commencement Singer, you’ll have
a dedicated team to support you every step of the way!
Here’s What to Expect:
- Personalized Coaching: You’ll have the option to work with FRCC faculty and staff, including our Voices coaches, who are ready to help you craft your final speech or perfect your performance. Whether you need minor feedback, a listening partner for practice, or guidance to bring your vision to life, we’ll follow your lead and provide the support you’re interested in.
