eWOLF Refresh Information
We're excited to launch a new eWOLF experience this fall. We've compiled project information, launch timing, FAQS and resources—all to help ensure a smooth transition to the refreshed eWOLF.
Why Move?
CCCS is changing the software platform it uses to run all of CCCS college platforms, including eWOLF. The new platform should provide an updated user experience that is both responsive and accessible. While the new platform may look different, rest assured, FRCC's project team has worked closely with CCCS over the last year to migrate and update all of our information. That means you'll see the same information you're currently accessing—and more.
Platform Overview
The eWOLF Menu
Information is housed on the home screen and under four main categories:
- Academics
- Community
- Account
- Work
Discover let's you quickly search for the content you need and Resources contains quicklinks such as the FRCC website and MyCourses.
Card-Based Layout
To easily consume information, all content is organized on cards. Cards in any section
can be pinned to your home page and moved around so the content you access most is
at your fingertips.
The majority of the cards on the platform have been created and are controlled by CCCS. However, FRCC does have some of its own content, and we can add new cards as needed.
Announcement Row
Time-sensitive announcements and alerts can be found in the top row of the home screen.
Integrated Calendar
The FRCC Calendar & Events is integrated in the refreshed eWOLF platform. Simply click
on the calendar icon in the upper right corner of your screen to see the latest activities
and events at FRCC.
Updated Search & Sort Functionality
The refreshed eWOLF lets you search for content quickly, using the Discover tab.
You can also easily sort cards on any category page, using the Sort By dropdown.
FRCC eWOLF App
You can also access eWOLF through the FRCC eWOLF app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
When Will This Launch?
eWOLF will roll out to all students on students on October 1. Remember, you will still be able to access the old platform until December 8, 2024.
