AAS in Interior Architecture and Design
Program Locations: Larimer
Total Credits: 65 credits (4 semesters)
Study Interior Architecture and Design through a blend of creative exploration, technical knowledge and hands-on application. Learn to design functional, sustainable and inclusive spaces while building skills in visual communication, interior systems, material application, constructability and industry-standard design technology.

You'll master the fundamental skills used in interior design, drafting and graphic communication. You'll learn architectural drafting techniques, CAD software skills and communication and design principles.

Kitchen and Bath Design
Program Locations: Larimer
Total Credits: 31 credits (2 semesters)
Design the spaces where life happens most. FRCC's Kitchen and Bath Design Certificate combines creative exploration with technical expertise, preparing students to design kitchens and bathrooms that are functional, safe and inspiring. Through immersive, project-based learning, students build skills in residential design, cabinetry, materials, construction documentation and BIM technology while gaining valuable industry experience through professional internship opportunities. Graduates leave prepared to contribute to design firms, showrooms, residential builders and project teams from day one.

The National Council for Interior Design Qualifications Exam
To be eligible to sit for the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications
(NCIDQ) exam, special education and work experience requirements need to be met. Completing
both the Interior Architecture & Design AAS degree and the Kitchen & Bath Design Certificate allows you to meet 60 credits of interior design
coursework included in a certificate or degree from an accredited institution to be
eligible. In addition to education requirements, you will need to meet the minimum
three years of direct supervised/sponsored work hours.
