Why Study Geospatial Science at Front Range Community College?

FRCC is one of only a handful of community colleges in Colorado to offer bachelor of applied science degrees. Our Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in geospatial science trains you to analyze and interpret complex data in order to make informed decisions that will shape our world.

Our geospatial science courses teach you skills and technologies used in more than 400 occupations, including environmental science, engineering, public health, urban development and fire protection. Our small class sizes ensure you receive the individualized attention you need to meet your career goals.

If you're interested in exploring the field, you can start with the 12-credit foundations of GIS certificate, then move progressively into the GIS certificate, Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in geospatial science and then the bachelor's degree. All programs are “stacked” — with one level building on the next.
