GED Prep Classes

FRCC offers GED preparation classes for adults 17 and older at our Boulder County and Larimer Campuses. (16 year olds may also qualify).

GED Prep Offered at the Larimer Campus

  • Classes are free.
  • Assessment scores determine class levels and schedules.
  • Registration and assessment testing takes approximately 3½ hours.

Registration for summer 2023 classes will begin on April 24, 2023. After you register, you will be contacted about your testing and orientation appointment (in June). Summer session classes will begin July 10, 2023.

Appointments outside normal business hours are available upon request.

GED Prep Offered at the Boulder County Campus

  • The summer class will run from 7/10/23 - 8/31/23.
  • The class is offered Monday-Thursday mornings, 9 am - 12 pm.
  • The class is free.
  • Assessment scores determine class level and schedule.
  • Assessment will take place the week before class begins.
