This Supervisor Management course provides hands-on experiences that introduce first time supervisors to the competencies necessary to do their job. This Supervisor Management course provides hands-on experiences that introduce first time supervisors to the competencies necessary to do their job. Participants will gain insights into aligning manufacturing operations with overall business goals, utilizing key performance indicators, and implementing strategic solutions to enhance competitiveness and sustainability in the dynamic manufacturing landscape. Manufacturing Workforce Management - HR and Legal Perspectives
This Supervisor Management course provides hands-on experiences that introduce first time supervisors to the competencies necessary to do their job. This course guides and challenges new supervisors to become more confident in manufacturing workforce management, including HR and legal perspectives. Supervisors will leave this course with tools, resources and action plans that can improve their skills and prepare them for the workforce as front line supervisors. Target Audience: Individuals moving into or new to the supervisor role.

Intermediate Lean Techniques
The Intermediate Lean Techniques class is designed to build upon foundational Lean
principles with a focus on deeper implementation strategies and continuous improvement
in manufacturing environments. Participants in this course learn advanced Lean tools
and methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen events, Kanban systems,
and 5S workplace organization.
Emphasizing practical application, the class equips attendees with the skills to identify
and eliminate waste, streamline processes, and enhance productivity through systematic
problem-solving and team collaboration. Case studies and simulation exercises provide
hands-on experience in applying Intermediate Lean Techniques to real-world manufacturing
scenarios, preparing participants to lead and sustain Lean initiatives that drive
operational efficiency and quality improvement across their organizations.

Exploring Welding
Learn safety and the technical fundamentals of welding while applying those skills in this hands-on workshop! Workshop includes open shop time to work on your own project. All safety gear, welding equipment and materials are included in the course price.
