Steps to Apply
1. Watch the Mandatory Program Video
2. Apply to FRCC
Apply to Front Range Community College, declare your major and transfer credits (if applicable).
You should also apply for financial aid.

3. Complete College Readiness Assessments
4. Meet with Your Advisor & Register for Classes
Your Academic Advisor will help you select your courses. Register for courses per My Academic Map (MAP). Note: verification of age, must be 18+, by September 1. The State requirement for exposing radiographs is 18 years of age.
5. Submit Required Admissions Documents for Program Entry
Upon registration of courses, you will be granted access by the Program Director/Clinic Coordinator to the Dental Assisting Program Cohort “Year Attending” in MyCourses. This will be used to upload all required documents.
Students must meet all requirements of their assigned Clinical/Internship/Practicum
placement
site, which may include specific vaccinations and/or other requirements not listed
here.
- Complete the receipt and acknowledgement of Guidelines for Infectious Disease and Sharps Safety Form
- Complete the Essentials Functions Form
- Complete the Information Sheet/ADA Survey
- Provide copy of Government issued Driver’s License, ID or Passport
- Provide copy of High School Diploma or GED
- Provide proof of vaccinations, to include:
- Tdap (within 10 years)
- TB-QuantiFERON Gold Test
- Measles, Mumps Rubella (MMR) or proof of immunity via a positive titer
- Two dose series Varicella Chickenpox) or proof of immunity via a positive titer
- Hepatitis B Series (two dose or three dose series) or proof of immunity via a positive titer or *signed waiver
- Students must meet all requirements of their assigned Clinical/Internship/Practicum placement site, which may include specific vaccinations and/or other requirements not listed here.
- Influenza (flu shot) annually
- Provide a Copy of American Heart Association BLS Provider CPR card certification (valid for two years). Can be met at the Dental Assisting Program Orientation at the end of July for $20 or privately.
- Complete a background check through Castle Branch-more information will be made available in Dental Assisting Cohort “Year Attending” via MyCourses.
6. Attend the Program Orientation
The program orientation will be held on the last Wednesday of July, 9 am - 12 pm in GP-147.
Followed by a CPR class 1 pm - 4 pm, the cost is $20.
