High School Select

What is High School Select?

High School Select is a concurrent enrollment program that provides high school students with the opportunity to take FRCC classes at their home high school for college credit. Tuition is covered by the school district, but students may be responsible for textbooks and/or applicable fees.

What FRCC classes can I take?

Class offerings are determined in partnership with the school district, FRCC, and each individual high school. Students should talk with their high school counselor about what course offerings may be available at their high school.

Am I eligible to participate?

Students must be approved by their high school to participate in the High School Select Program. In some cases, qualifying test scores may be required prior to enrollment in a course.

Students should be aware that classes are taught at the college level. Classes are taught by FRCC-approved high school instructors, or by FRCC instructors who travel to your school.

How do I enroll?

Students are selected to participate in High School Select by their home high school counselors. Certain paperwork may be required by the high school and/or school district, and students are expected to follow all high school application processes and to meet all home high school related deadlines.
