Student Privacy/FERPA

In this Section

The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) provides students with privacy of their student record upon turning 18, or upon enrolling in college classes at any age. As a result of FERPA, colleges are not able to share information about a student's record with anyone other than the student without a FERPA waiver on file. Students participating in Concurrent Enrollment can utilize the learning management system, called MyCourses to show others their progress in classes and grades.
