Beyond Benefits

In this Section

Front Range Community College employees can also tap into additional opportunities for products, services and other perks.

Service, Product and Travel Discounts

As a Colorado State employee you are eligible for discounts for travel, tickets, electronics, apparel, food, insurance, and many other items through Benefit Hub.

Our students, faculty and staff are eligible to purchase select software titles at academic discounts through e-academy. Participating companies include Microsoft, Adobe, VMWare, IBM, Parallels, SAS and Trend.

Winter Break

We are closed the week between December 25 and New Year's Day. Since the college is closed you don't have to worry about work piling up while you are out of the office. THAT is a vacation!

Employee Assistance Plan

Colorado State Employee Assistance Program (C-SEAP) is a valuable resource for all state employees. They offer many different services including: Confidential Counseling, Conflict Resolution, Workshops and Training. Visit the Division of Human Resources to learn more.

Health & Wellness

We participate in a voluntary employer sponsored Bicycle Commuter Benefit Program. There are also annual Wellness Fairs in each campus in the fall of each year. The Westminster Campus has a beautiful fitness center that is open to students and staff for a nominal fee.

Professional Development

Our staff have many opportunities to grow professionally. Courses include, but are not limited to: Essentials for Supervisors, Bring the FISH Philosophy to Life, Handling Tough Conversations with Courage, De-Escalating High Emotion Situations, Generations in the Workplace, and Front Range's own leadership program called Roadmap to Achievement.

Teaching with Purpose Adjunct Academy (TWPAA) is a long-standing professional development opportunity at Front Range Community College. It offers our Part-Time Instructors a more in-depth overview of teaching practices and theory.

Additional Perks

Our Larimer Campus (Fort Collins) has great courses of study that also benefit employees. Veterinary Technician students offer a low cost vaccine clinic for students and staff to participate in. Our Massage Therapy students travel to the different campuses to offer 30 minute chair massages to the students and staff.

FRCC is Collaborative

We benefit from the creativity, expertise, and innovation of our employees.  Employees are involved in many aspects of the college environment, including our strategic planning efforts.  We promote and encourage collaboration between instruction, student services, and all other departments.  College leaders empower faculty and staff to be inventive and progressive—both in what services we offer and in how we deliver them.
