Adams County Workforce Scholarship
Accepting applications for a Workforce Scholarship for students who live in Adams County or went to an Adams County High School and are enrolled in a certificate program.
Must meet the following requirements:
- Be 16-24 years of age
- Attend or attended an Adams County high school or live in Adams County
- Be a Colorado resident
- Be enrolled in a certificate program at a community college or technical college at a public institution of higher education in Colorado
- Meet income eligibility (up to 250% PELL). Get a free estimate of your federal student aid by completing the Federal Student Aid Estimator
- Complete application

Blue Star Scholarship (for Veterans or Active Military)
Through a generous grant from McKee Foundation and their Blue Star Scholarship, the FRCC Foundation is awarding $25,000 to veterans or active military students.

Boundless Opportunity Scholarship
The Boundless Opportunity Scholarship is now closed for the 2023-2024 school year. Please check back in the Fall 2024 semester for funding for the 2024-2025 school year.
Must meet the following requirements:
- be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for each semester of eligibility
- be a Colorado resident
- have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA
- complete the Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA) for the 2023-2024 academic year
- be in good standing for Satisfactory Academic Progress
- be pursuing a two-year degree (AA, AS, AAS, AES)
- not be in default or over-payment status on any Federal Title IV funds
- complete the scholarship application process
- qualify under one of the following categories:
- Veteran entering or returning to college
- Adult Learner (age 25 or older, with a break in time in school)
- GED Recipient
Career Advance Colorado
Thanks to the Career Advance Colorado grant program, you can have your tuition, fees and course materials covered while funding is available. Funding is only anticipated to be available through the fall 2024 term. To take advantage of the grant funding, just apply for financial aid, be declared in this program and take courses toward program completion. Whatever isn’t covered by financial aid will be covered by Career Advance. Learn more about the program.

Career and Technical Education Grant
The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Grant is now open for the 2024-2025 school year.
The CTE Grant offers financial assistance to students if they are enrolled in one of the approved CTE certificates and meet eligibility requirements. The purpose of the grant is to provide funding assistance to low-income students enrolled in certificate programs that are under 16 credit hours. The grant covers the cost of tuition, fees, required books and materials only.
- Must be a Colorado resident
- Must be enrolled in a CTE program that is 15 credit hours or less to complete
- Must not be receiving Veterans Administration education benefits
- Must be in good standing for Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress standards
This grant is need based and student must show financial need by completing a FAFSA demonstrating they would qualify for Pell grant OR by providing a copy of proof of any of the following:
- Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) Benefits
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Benefits
- Medicaid Eligibility
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI), or Disability Benefits
- Section 8 Housing Voucher
- Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Benefits
- An income that is eligible for Free and Reduced Lunch Benefits
- An income that is too low to require a Federal Income Tax Filing
CCCS Foundation Scholarships
The CCCS Foundation Scholarship application is now closed for 2024-2025. Please check back later in 2024 for next years application!
- NO letters of recommendation required
- NO transcripts required
- NO resumes required
- NO interviews required
- One application for multiple scholarships
- Awards range from $1,000 to $5,000
- ASSET students are eligible for many scholarship opportunities, except where noted otherwise
Colby Family Scholarship
- Must be enrolled at the FRCC Larimer Campus
- Must be pursuing a degree/certificate in a business related field
- Must complete application by February 4, 2024
COSI Grants
FRCC has received two grants—totaling more than $4 million—from the state Department of Higher Education's Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI). FRCC will use these funds to re-enroll and support students who have started their education, but had to stop without completing a degree.

Early Childhood Education (ECE) Scholarships
FRCC has been awarded funding from the Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) to support students in the ECE field. Funding is available and will be used for tuition reimbursement and/or individual stipends for students. View eligibility requirements.

Early Childhood Partnership with Adams County (ECPAC) Scholarship
- Must be enrolled in the early childhood education program
- Must have worked in an early childhood facility for a minimum of 6 months
- Must be currently working a minimum of 20 hours/week in a licensed early childhood facility in Adams County

High Need Student Emergency Scholarships
Due to fund depletion, we are no longer accepting applications for this scholarship at this time.
The FRCC High Needs Fund awards monetary assistance to current FRCC students who are experiencing an unforeseen financial hardship due to an emergency.
Highway Maintenance Management Scholarship
This scholarship has been created to provide financial support to students pursuing a degree or certificate in Highway Maintenance Management at FRCC.

The Learning Source at FRCC offers a scholarship for students pursuing, or who have just earned, an high school equivalency diploma by passing the GED or HiSET Exam.

Wolves-to-Rams Scholarship and Paid Research Internship - FRCC Collegewide
Colorado State University is recruiting 36 current FRCC students in STEM, natural resources, biomedical, and behavioral sciences! We have a 7-semester $30,000 Scholarship Program AND a 24-month $40,000 Research Training internship for students interested in transferring from FRCC to CSU. Have questions and/or need assistance?
