Front Range Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Institutions are reviewed every 10 years to ensure that they continue to meet the criteria for accreditation. FRCC’s 10-year review is under way. FRCC has an unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality instruction, and the same high level of conduct in our business practices. Accreditation is proof of this commitment, and signifies that we have met the rigorous standards of a nationally recognized third party. Steering CommitteeProcessAn accreditation review has two basic components. First, the institution is required to conduct a thorough self-study to determine if the Higher Learning Commission criteria are satisfied and assess the institution’s strengths and challenges. Second, a team of Higher Learning Commission consultant-evaluators will visit the campus to verify the accuracy of the self-study report and offer suggestions concerning the identified areas of concern.
